“ Loved the malai croquet! The food was very amazing. Flavors were rich and everything was tastefully done. It was a good fusion of Indian and western without leaning too far on either side. The cocktails were good but can be improved. Overall well worth the experience. Glad SaMo has a new Indian place that’s worth going to. ”
“ The food was so delicious and flavorful. Definitely exceeded our expectations. The service was observant and cleared our table quickly. Everyone seemed to work well as a team to take care of us. Our main server, Benjamin, as top notch and we will definitely be making return visits. ”
“ This place opened up not too long ago and I hope It stays. The food is delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and very polite. The drinks are great too. They have small plates and plates to share. This is my second time here and both times I’ve gotten the large plates to share. There’s plenty to eat there and enough to take home for left overs! So good. I have eaten multiple dishes and have not once been disappointed. Come here and enjoy Indian cuisine. Support them so they stay in our neck of the woods! I also hear they have belly dancers on special days. So fun! ”
“ Amazing food! Our server Daniel was fantastic- he was very attentive and suggested delicious dishes. The cocktails were very creative and tasty, too. I should have taken more photos of the food but I got so sidetracked by the flavors! Definitely coming back! ”
“ We recently dined at Fitoor, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt both luxurious and welcoming — a perfect blend of modern elegance and subtle Indian charm. Oh and did I mention there were belly dancers! The menu is a celebration of India’s rich culinary heritage with a contemporary twist. Every dish we tried — from the melt-in-your-mouth lamb shank to the beautifully spiced chicken seikh masala — was masterfully prepared and bursting with layered flavors. The small plates and kulcha were equally impressive, especially the prawns, which arrived perfectly charred and aromatic. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about explaining the menu and making thoughtful recommendations. Fitoor feels like a special occasion destination but without any of the pretense. Whether you’re an Indian cuisine connoisseur or simply curious to explore elevated Indian flavors, this place is a must-visit in Santa Monica. I can’t wait to return. ”
“ The food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and we were so grateful that our vegan requests were happily accommodated. The staff was kind and attentive, making sure everything met our dietary needs without compromising on taste. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious Indian food with thoughtful service! A special shoutout to Heather, who was incredibly patient and accommodating with all our requests. She made us feel so welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her kindness and attention to detail truly elevated our dining experience—thank you, Heather! ”
“ We had the best time here celebrating. The food was amazing and had very unique flavors and Lindy was the perfect server. My favourite was the purple potato with cranberry mousse. Will definitely be back. ”
“ Wow! I’m so happy I tried Fitoor the food was excellen, the ambience beautiful and the service friendly. I visited on a weekend a tried a little from both their brunch menu and the main menu and It was all great. They have these paneer tostadas on the brunch menu that I’m obsessed with- Packed with so much flavor and textures. When I come back it will most likely be on a weekend for more of those tostadas and the warm & flaky puffs From the main menu my favorite had to be the tandoori curry leaf prawns they were bursting with flavor and just the perfect amount of heat that awakened the tastebuds but didn’t linger for too long. There were more great dishes like the Kulchas. But I don’t want to spoil it for you get in there and try this place out sooner than later and save room for dessert dessert because the creme brulee is very special the way they make it. Not overly sweet and plated beautifully. Can’t wait to visit again soon! ”
